Signing Ceremony Held Between Our University and Lumbini Buddhist University of Nepal for Project Collaboration
On the morning of November 17, a signing ceremony for collaboration between our university and Lumbini Buddhist University of Nepal was held in Conference Room 801 of the library at the High-Tech Campus. Vice President FanMingjin attended the event and delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by Tian Fuping, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Exchange, and Alumni Affairs.
FanMingjin extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Lumbini Buddhist University and provided a brief introduction to our university’s history, disciplinary strengths, and international cooperation and exchange initiatives. She emphasized that this collaboration aligns with the urgent need for international integration of high-quality educational resources in the context of globalization and will significantly advance the development of education at both institutions. Subarna Lal Bajracharya, Vice Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and provided a detailed overview of his university’s educational characteristics and key disciplines. He also elaborated on the collaborative projects and shared his optimistic expectations for the future of the partnership. During the meeting, the two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Representatives from theCollegeof ForeignLanguages, theCollegeof Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and theCollegeof Computer Science also engaged in discussions with the visiting delegation.
Following the ceremony, the delegation from Lumbini Buddhist University visited the “Baoji New Energy Power Generation and Energy Storage Engineering Technology Research Center” at theCollegeof Electronic and Electrical Engineering and the “Artificial Intelligence Laboratory” at theCollegeof Computer Science. The visit concluded with a discussion session held at the College of Computer Science.
The meeting was attended by representatives and relevant staff from the Office of the Party and Administration, the Academic Affairs Office, the Office of International Cooperation, Exchange, and Alumni Affairs, the College of Foreign Languages, the College of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and the College of Computer Science.
